What is your role at Communities for Youth and what kinds of things will you be responsible for?
My role at Communities for Youth is the Youth Engagement Coordinator. I am responsible for designing and helping in executing events that inspire and empower teens. I will help in planning logistics, manage timelines, and ensure elements all come together to create successful events for youth to feel safe and engaged. Additionally, I will engage with the community and partners to foster strong participation and enthusiasm. By creating dynamic and impactful events, I will cultivate a positive and supportive environment for youth development.
What drew you to working with C4Y?
What drew me to work with C4Y was my passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of young individuals. I was motivated by my desire to create positive change and help to provide opportunities for growth in my community. I also wanted to be a part of an organization that visualized teens thrive and reach their potential through engaging with the community themselves.
What's some things you like to do for fun outside of work?
Some things I like to do for fun outside of work include indoor and outdoor activities! Indoor wise I love to watch horror movies and cook. Outdoors I love to go on hikes, go thrifting, find hole in the wall coffee shops to try, biking on the greenbelt trail, and hang out with friends of course!
