Communities for Youth is excited to announce that in Fall 2024, we will be partnering with the mayors’ offices of Meridian, Eagle, and Star, St. Luke’s Community Health and Engagement, and the West Ada School District, to offer six community listening sessions on youth well-being.
Community listening sessions provide an opportunity for parents, extended family, youth service professionals, and concerned community members to discuss and share their thoughts on trends and topics related to the health and well-being of local young people. Communities for Youth supports local partners in these sessions with facilitation and logistics. The listening sessions will also include a brief introduction to the upstream prevention approach to youth well-being.
Each meeting will have roughly the same agenda, but listening session content is dependent on each group of participating community members. RSVPs are encouraged for planning purposes and allow you to receive email reminders leading up to the event.
