This meeting will focus on building out a specific strategy (and three action teams) to enhance parent and community engagement in increasing youth social connection in Blaine County. An Upstream Prevention approach for youth includes looking at ways to address the protective factor of social connection across multiple levels of their experience; including at the individual, peer, family, school and greater community.

The Communities for Youth team will thus provide a deep dive on Blaine County's youth data around social connection , present the evidence base around effective interventions and approaches, and lead attendees through co-creating a concrete and actionable plan to engage the parents and broader community in this work. We hope to see you there!
