C4Y's Smith and Isbell Present at Idaho's Stronger Together Conference

Communities for Youth Executive Director Dr. Megan Smith and Deputy Director Dr. Matt Isbell presented on the importance of upstream prevention for youth mental health and well-being at the 2024 Stronger Together Conference: Uniting For Change on October 2-4.

The conference brought together experts from the fields of school psychology, counseling, and social work for presentations and breakout sessions focused on how educators across Idaho can support the diverse needs of students. Dr's Smith and Isbell discussed how to create communities using multi-disciplinary strategies that foster a thriving environment for young people and their families. They explained how Communities for Youth implements their data-driven, community-engaged approach to promote mental health among youth in Idaho and highlighted key successes in various regional and emerging initiatives in the state.
